The beaches are not "nude beaches". There may be some somewhere. Topless sunbathing is common on most/all of the beaches, less so by the pools. It is my understanding that topless sunbathing is illegal in the DR but a blind eye is obviously being turned to this "infraction".

The opening should be in late 2019. With the Temptation resort, I can see where there would be leeway for nudity at the pools and beaches.

Stayed at the Excellence 2 years ago and observed just a few women who chose to be topless. Went to the Bahia Principe 2 weeks ago and there were many topless women.
